Five years ago (almost to the day), DJ Krush came to Chengdu. It was the best DJ performance I’ve seen in Chengdu. Not only is he an outstanding performer but his music is incredible and I have been DJ’ing with it for years (Dig This Vibe, Kemuri, etc).
This December, he’s coming back to perform on my 30th birthday and I’m opening for him. I was originally planning on hiking up Mt Fuji for my birthday but since this opportunity has come knocking I will postpone that.
DJ Shadow and DJ Krush in a 2 month period – things are looking up for Chengdu in a big way.
