{"id":3208,"date":"2012-07-21T16:00:47","date_gmt":"2012-07-21T16:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.justcharlie.com\/?p=3208"},"modified":"2013-02-19T07:32:45","modified_gmt":"2013-02-19T07:32:45","slug":"postcards-from-tibet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.justcharlie.com\/postcards-from-tibet\/","title":{"rendered":"Postcards From Tibet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After DJ&#8217;ing in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.justcharlie.com\/category\/tibet\">Lhasa<\/a> for a week in 2006, I never returned to Tibet.<\/p>\n<p>Although I thoroughly enjoyed the time that I spent there and look forward to returning one day, unfortunately it will not be any day soon. Partly because I might not have much time to travel this year and also because of the fact that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2011\/04\/22\/china-bans-foreigners-tibet-regions_n_852576.html\" target=\"_blank\">foreigners are not allowed in Tibet<\/a> at all.<\/p>\n<p>On the upside, I can still get postcards from Tibet. I got two this month and both of them made my day.
