I recently binged on Grand Theft Auto V and finished it in a week. More recently, I’ve been watching television in addition to movies (both Homeland and The Walking Dead). Then I read a comic like the one below and it makes me perceive all of that in a different way.
Are false experiences that elicit the same biological response as real ones equally valid? If The Matrix existed, would you choose to live inside it? We rarely ask ourselves these questions consciously, but everyday we silently answer them by making choices.
This is long. Take a minute to read it though, it’s outstanding. It’s the most thought provoking comic I’ve read since The Zen of Steve Jobs.
