We pulled a crowd of 400 in a small bar and raised $1,500 for Tibetan minority kids in Western Sichuan and the night was essentially an ultimate success aside from Kensho getting out of control drunk and us having to prop him up on the street outside. Probably the best show I’ve ever had in China, and I’d say definitely the best show that we’ve had together as Hunters & Gatherers. The crowd was literally yelling for more so we went through a lot more material than we’d originally planned on. There were tons of photographers in the house and a group of video guys making a documentary on the benefit show so it’s all on tape!
