The Playstation 3 was recently hacked and has been selling like crazy in Chengdu. The last few times I’ve been to the computer markets I notice that they’re constantly selling them. Since I hadn’t really played my Xbox 360 in months I decided to sell it and try out the PS3. Partly for the benefit of being able to watch Blu-Ray movies and party because I was curious about the PS3 worked and how it compared to the Xbox.
After using it for a few weeks now I will say that as far as games, it’s not as good as the Xbox. Not a big deal for me since I don’t have much time to be playing games anyway. But being able to watch Blu-Ray movies is nice though and I don’t regret the decision. Here’s a post about it that I published on Chengdu Living: Buying a PS3 in China.
