This song is by Mark and Casey, collectively known as Catastrophic Neon Rainbow. Casey is the first daughter of the first girl I fell in love with (Jackie) and Mark is her father. It’s rainy day music and I like it because it sounds like almost nothing else.

Boards of Canada – Dayvon Cowboy

I remember first getting into Boards of Canada around 2003 when at Miami WMC with Esfand. He’d listen to Music Has the Right to Children in the hotel room and take his earbuds out to tell me how awesome it was. Over and over. I’m glad he did.
